Computer Vision

For applications in industrial image processing, video analysis, or the creation of digital twins, GPU servers form a powerful basis for fast, parallel data processing. They enable large amounts of image and video data to be analyzed efficiently and processed in real time. Depending on the application scenario, additional specialized systems and platforms are also available that are optimally tailored to different computer vision requirements.

For more information about our solutions, visit our Computer Vision landing page.

Simulations

For 3D simulations, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), or Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) simulations, GPU servers provide a powerful computing platform for calculating complex models significantly faster and rendering them realistically. HiL applications in particular benefit from high GPU performance, as simulations and tests must be performed under real-time conditions. In addition to GPU servers, we offer other specialized systems and solutions that are specifically designed for HiL and automotive scenarios.

    FAQ

A GPU server is a powerful server that integrates high-performance graphics processors (GPUs) in addition to traditional CPUs. These servers are specifically designed for computationally intensive applications where parallel data processing is crucial. Typical areas of application include artificial intelligence (AI), deep learning, simulations, image and video processing, and industrial automation. By combining CPU and GPU, our systems deliver maximum computing power and significantly accelerate complex calculations compared to conventional servers.

NVIDIA® Blackwell GPUs are the latest generation of professional high-performance graphics processors, specifically designed to take GPU servers for AI, deep learning, and data processing to a new level of performance. The Blackwell architecture offers significantly more computing power for training and inference tasks, optimized tensor cores for AI calculations, and greater energy efficiency in continuous operation.

For GPU servers this means maximum performance for computationally intensive workloads, shorter AI training times, high scalability, and reliable efficiency in 24/7 operation—ideal for modern industrial and research applications.

GPU servers use different metrics to describe AI performance. TOPs provide information about performance in AI-specific operations such as inference, TFLOPs describe the theoretical computing power for floating point calculations, and CUDA cores represent the parallel processing capacity of a GPU. However, none of these metrics alone tells the whole story about actual AI performance, as architecture, memory bandwidth, and the specific workload play a decisive role.

You can find a detailed explanation of the most important performance indicators in our wiki article “TOPS vs. TFLOPS vs. CUDA Cores: Leistungskennzahlen einfach erklärt” (German).
