High-performance industrial PC platform for demanding real-time applications in image processing and ADAS

Kithara Software and InoNet are combining their expertise. The goal of the collaboration is to combine InoNet’s industrial PCs, which span a wide range of performance classes, with Kithara’s real-time system and to demonstrate them as a validated solution for industrial image processing and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Powerful hardware meets real-time technology

InoNet’s industrial PCs provide the hardware foundation for Kithara’s real-time system. This extends Windows with hard real-time capability. This enables deterministic task execution in the microsecond range and precise cycle times, even under high CPU loads. At the same time, the platform supports high-resolution image processing, sensor-level data processing, and AI-based algorithms. HMI, control systems, and communication can also be consolidated onto a single platform.

The platform is designed for demanding real-time applications where high data rates, low latency, and deterministic behavior are critical.

These include multi-camera systems with high data rates, real-time image processing and AI inference, ADAS development and validation, as well as the combination of motion control and sensor fusion. Edge computing applications with real-time requirements are also among the targeted use cases.
