Everyware GreenEdge software in the AWS Marketplace: a simple, innovative and secure way to get started with AWS IoT services.

Eurotech, a provider of Edge Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) technologies and our parent company, is proud to introduce Everyware GreenEdge – a software solution designed to address the typical challenges of integrating and managing Edge Internet of Things (IoT) devices on a large scale. These challenges include time-consuming errors, security vulnerabilities, inconsistent data and uncontrollable IoT devices with insecure credentials.

With Everyware GreenEdge, customers can easily register edge devices with just a few clicks and connect to Amazon Web Services (AWS), unlocking access to the full range of AWS services, including AWS IoT Analytics.

“We are very proud to bring our integrated portfolio to the AWS Marketplace, combining our 30 years of edge expertise with the comprehensive IoT portfolio and global reach of AWS,” says Paul Chawla, CEO of Eurotech. “Everyware GreenEdge confirms Eurotech’s commitment to Unleash the Power of the Edge by staying true to our business principles and providing simple, agnostic and secure solutions. “Everyware GreenEdge is more than just a product, it empowers our customers to achieve their digital goals with confidence and speed.”

Everyware GreenEdge combines the features of AWS IoT Greengrass and Eurotech’s Everyware Software Framework (ESF) and utilizes the capabilities of Eurotech’s Everyware Cloud (EC) for remote device management. A key feature of this solution is Eurotech’s innovative zero-touch provisioning (ZTP). With ZTP, the required certificates are automatically downloaded and the pre-configured installation starts as soon as the device is connected, reducing the once error-prone and time-consuming process from several hours to just a few minutes and requiring minimal knowledge from the installer.

In addition, Everyware GreenEdge’s user interface covers everything from hardware integration to communication with various devices and sensors, enabling both support for field protocols and access to AWS services to create comprehensive applications. The configuration is intuitive thanks to simplified management tools, so that no extensive coding is required and the set-up process runs smoothly.

In addition to the technical benefits, Everyware GreenEdge offers a unified billing system for all software and service costs in the Amazon Marketplace. This simplifies the procurement process and makes it easier for customers to access and manage the solution, while benefiting from the reliable billing infrastructure of AWS.

Everyware GreenEdge is offered for the entire Eurotech Edge portfolio, starting with ReliaGATE 10-14. This makes it the first gateway in the industry to be equipped with a solution that has been developed with security in mind and is certified in accordance with the PSA Level 1, ISA/IEC 62443-4-2 standards.

With Everyware GreenEdge, this device becomes an all-in-one solution that provides seamless access to AWS configuration, accelerates deployment and ensures industry-standard security and data integrity.

Everyware GreenEdge is currently available as a preview.

Companies interested in testing Everyware GreenEdge in the final beta phase are invited to contact Eurotech directly.

Press release: InoNet & Canonical cooperate for a smooth deployment of Edge AI

InoNet has entered into a strategic partnership with Canonical, the publisher of Ubuntu. Together, they offer a robust platform for IoT use with modern Ubuntu-certified computers. The partnership combines InoNet’s hardware with Canonical’s hardware certification program, ensuring rigorous standards for reliability, software compatibility and ongoing maintenance. As part of this program, certified hardware has access to ongoing support and critical security updates, giving customers peace of mind that their systems remain secure and operational.

At the heart of the collaboration is the InoNet Concepion®-tXf-L-v3, powered by Intel® processors for reliability and performance. Thanks to Canonical’s hardware certification, supported by extensive testing, the compatibility of the device is guaranteed beyond the initial validation for future updates. This means that when minor Ubuntu updates and patches are released, there is less chance that the pre-certified hardware will cause problems or require major customizations to work with these updates. Users can therefore be sure that their software stacks work exactly as specified by Ubuntu. In addition, the integration of hardware drivers into the Ubuntu kernel simplifies use and improves compatibility with future kernel updates.

“InoNet’s collaboration with Canonical is a milestone in our commitment to provide high quality products to our customers. With access to reliable, powerful and Ubuntu-certified hardware, they can smoothly and efficiently use edge computing technologies to optimize their business processes, up to comprehensive AI applications. Ubuntu-certified hardware, backed by software compatibility, long-term support and security updates, ensures a level of reliability that sets important industry standards. This collaboration not only minimizes integration risks for our customers, but also accelerates time to market. I am pleased that together we can enable Edge AI applications that pave the way to a smarter, safer and more sustainable future,” says Ralph Ostertag, CEO, InoNet.

The combination of Ubuntu and the Concepion®-tXf-L-v3 provides an adaptable platform for IoT solutions on edge servers, IPCs and edge AI systems. Certified for reliability and performance, the collaboration between InoNet and Canonical not only improves these product features, but also optimizes processes, reduces risks and accelerates time-to-market in various industries.

“The Ubuntu Certified program enables us to offer secure and fully supported IoT solutions across the entire stack. We are delighted that InoNet has joined the Ubuntu ecosystem. With this partnership, we can offer the best possible Linux experience out-of-the-box, with long-term support for security and reliability. We look forward to more innovative Edge AI applications for InoNet customers,” said Joe Dulin, VP of Devices Sales at Canonical.
