The Mayflower®-Q5aW-SP6 is a compact, rugged, high-performance industrial PC designed for smart data processing and reliable 24/7 continuous operation in vehicles. Designed for horizontal or vertical mounting, the system features a 1 mm thick sheet steel case and is powered by a 9–18 VDC power supply rated at 500/550 watts, making it suitable for automotive applications. Based on CPUs from the AMD® EPYC™ 8004 series, the IPC delivers maximum server performance despite its lower power consumption compared to a standard car HPC. An innovative hybrid cooling system combining liquid cooling for the CPU and expansion cards with a 120 mm fan ensures stable operation even under continuous load. With a total of four PCIe Gen 5 slots, the system can be expanded to up to 20 LAN ports, with optional support for 25 Gbps LAN cards. In addition to internal M.2 and 2.5″ drive bays, the system features a QuickTray®-v3. This integrates a PCIe x16 RAID controller and enables data write rates of up to 26 GB/s as well as a storage capacity of up to 240 TB for demanding in-vehicle data acquisition. The vehicle-compatible computer is completed by an extended operating temperature range of 0 °C to 50 °C.
